Duration: 4 days
This tour is in combination with the Kumasi Culture Tour.
Day 1
Accra - Kumasi
After an early breakfast we head of to Kumasi.
See for ideas the Kumasi Culture Tour.
Day 2
Kumasi - Kintampo - Tamale
We leave Kumasi after breakfast.
We stop over in Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo Region to see an all year round steep waterfall, Kintampo Falls,
and continue to Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana.
From Kintampo the vegetation changes from the dense forest we have been accustomed to from the Ashanti region.
There are only trees of the very low type here. Grass is predominant in the vegetation. At certain times of the year,
there is no green vegetation at all.
Day 3
Tamale - Mole - Kumasi
We visit Mole National Park, the nation’s number one game reserve; where we find species of animals which otherwise
would be extinct due to excessive hunting and poaching. Animals include various types of birds, monkeys, antelopes,
elephants, bucks, buffalos, etc. - some of the animals can easily be seen when they come to the watering hole below
the Hotel, especially early in the morning or in the evening. Guides are available to take us through the Park.
After Lunch we head back to Kumasi and will bring you to the hotel before dinner.
Day 4
Kumasi - Accra
We leave Kumasi depending on your programme: A morning in Kumasi or we go early to Accra and visit some interesting
sites along the way.
Before dinner you will be back in your hotel in Accra.
